In addition to providing affordable, maintained, and well-appointed studio spaces for creative workers, Work in Progress Studios hosts educational workshops, a program of free exhibitions and readings, and a dedicated research library accessible to all visitors. One studio is allocated to supporting women working in the creative industries who have experience of seeking asylum, through a collaboration with Athens-based mentorship network Dila. The research library is centred around arts, literature, and theory providing a free educational resource.

Works in Progress Studios provides a space in which the disparate creative communities based in Athens can exchange ideas and collaborate. It brings together people who work in different disciplines, from diverse cultural and social backgrounds, on the principle that such encounters are essential to the production of culture that reflects our historical moment.
